Global Talent Visa: What are the documents you need to apply for Tech Nation Endorsement?
The UK Global talent visa requires you to document your career achievements. If you are just a regular 9–5 employee, you may not be eligible. This visa requires you to ask leaders in your sector for recommendation letters. You need to be known by leaders in the tech ecosystem who can write impressive recommendation letters about your work and how the UK can benefit from your work.
In addition to three recommendation letters, you need to show evidence that you meet one mandatory and two optional criteria.
The maximum evidence you can provide is 10. You also need to provide your CV and personal statements.
Global Talent application = ( 3 Recommendation Letters + CV+ maximum of 10 Pieces of Evidence + Personal statement.
Total= 15 documents.
If you don’t have up to 10 pieces of evidence, exceptional talent applicants MUST submit at least six pieces of evidence i.e two in each of the mandatory and two option criteria.
While exceptional promise applicants MUST submit at least four pieces of evidence i.e two pieces of evidence for the mandatory and at least one piece of evidence for each of the two optional criteria.
I always recommend you submit 10 pieces of evidence. If one piece of evidence is not accepted, the whole application will be refused. You MUST provide satisfactory evidence for both mandatory and two optional criteria.
In my opinion, getting recommendation letters and the 10 pieces of evidence is the most challenging part of preparing your application as it requires you to ask people for letters and showing proof of your work, high salary, media mentions, and, Code repos, GitHub account, conference speaking, etc.
CV and personal statement are things that are within your power. You are the best person to tell your story.
I have taken some time to put this into an image. If you have questions post ask them as a comment.
